France: Naturalia opens vegan stores
Outlet of Naturalia - a French organic supermarket chain.
The French organic chain Naturalia, a company belonging to the Monoprix corporation, has opened three small outlets with retail space of 100 - 150 m². With a range of around 2000 items, they will sell exclusively vegan products.
The concept is regarded as a test run that is being conducted at locations in and near Paris and in Strasbourg. Having opened 20 new stores in 2016, by the end of the year the chain was operating 145 organic supermarkets. Its annual turnover was nearly 200 million euros.
